This is a 3D print of my digital sculpture from Minecraft.
The tangible version of the sculpture changes the energy of the piece as it mingles with our real world.
In its textural form, Chronosphere becomes more about structure than aesthetics. It is a strange entity to understand even as the artist.
The loss of color also changes its symbolic qualities - especially the lack of the
ultramarine or royal blue with its long standing history as a sacred or holy color.
